Education That Builds Both Careers and Character

Bhagwan Parshuram Public School is a co-educational, English-medium institution located in Jagadhri, Yamunanagar. Since our first academic session in 1989, we have grown from 84 students in two rooms to a full-fledged senior secondary school serving more than 2,400 children from across the district.

Named after Bhagwan Parshuram — a symbol of discipline, knowledge and courage — our school carries those ideals into everyday practice. We believe a good school does three things well: it teaches clearly, it listens carefully, and it never lets a child slip through unnoticed.

Four Pillars That Hold Up Everything We Do

Every policy, timetable and classroom decision at BPPS is tested against these four commitments.

Academic Rigour

A structured syllabus, weekly assessment and honest feedback — no inflated marks, no shortcuts.

Individual Care

Every student is assigned a mentor teacher who tracks attendance, marks and wellbeing all year.

Creative Freedom

Music, dance, art, theatre and public speaking are timetable subjects, not optional extras.

Rooted Values

Indian culture, environmental responsibility and service to the community run through school life.

"A School Should Be the Safest Place a Child Knows"

Dear Parents and Students,

In my twenty-six years in education, I have learned that results follow relationships. A child who feels seen, respected and challenged will outperform expectations — every single time. That belief shapes how we run Bhagwan Parshuram Public School.

We do not chase toppers alone. We work equally hard for the student who struggles with mathematics, the one who is shy on stage, and the one who would rather be on the football field. Our job is to find what each child is good at, and then give them room to become excellent at it.

I invite you to visit our campus, sit in a classroom, and speak to our teachers. You will find a school that is serious about learning and warm about children.

Questions Parents Ask Us Most

If your question is not answered here, our admission desk is available Monday to Saturday between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM. We are happy to explain anything in detail.

Parents visiting the school

A child should have completed 3 years by 31st March of the admission year. We ask for a birth certificate at the time of registration, along with two passport photographs and the parents' address proof.

For Class II onwards we conduct a simple written assessment in English, Mathematics and the child's previous class syllabus. It is diagnostic — it helps us place the student correctly and plan any bridge support needed, not to reject applicants.

We offer Science (PCM and PCB with optional Computer Science), Commerce (with and without Mathematics) and Humanities. Stream allotment is based on Class X board results combined with a counselling session with the student and parents.

Yes. We operate 18 GPS-enabled buses covering Jagadhri, Yamunanagar, Radaur Road, Bilaspur Road, Chhachhrauli and nearby colonies. Every bus has a trained attendant, a first-aid kit and a verified driver. Route details are on our Transport page.

Weekly assessments flag students early. Those needing support attend free remedial classes twice a week after school hours, and their mentor teacher speaks to parents every fortnight until performance improves. There is no additional fee for this.

Yes — merit scholarships for students scoring above 90% in board exams, sports scholarships for state-level players, and a sibling concession. We also run a need-based fee waiver reviewed confidentially by the management committee.

Come and See the School for Yourself
